My Roots in the Soil
My love for gardening began in childhood, watching my parents cultivate our family land in Jamaica with fruit trees, vegetables, and citrus. Those early years planted a seed in me—a deep respect for the earth and the quiet magic of growing things.
As I grew older, that childhood curiosity became a calling. I joined a large gardening company where I received hands-on training, working alongside seasoned professionals who taught me the craft from the ground up. Over time, my skills matured, and gardening became more than a job—it became my life’s work.
Why I Started Grow & Glow Garden
In November 2024, I founded Grow & Glow Garden. I don’t own a nursery, and that was a deliberate choice. Instead, I wanted to use my years of experience and knowledge to give back to the gardening community in a different way—through sharing.
Through Grow & Glow Garden, I write blog posts, offer tips, and share the lessons I’ve learned through trial, observation, and plenty of dirt under my fingernails. If you’re facing a gardening challenge, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly, and I’ll be happy to help troubleshoot the problem.
What Drives Me
There’s a moment every gardener knows—when you plant a seed and watch it push through the soil for the first time. That’s life emerging right before your eyes. That moment never gets old for me, and it’s what keeps me passionate about this work.
I also believe in clean, safe gardening. The way we tend our gardens affects our health, our environment, and our communities. I’m committed to practices that nurture the soil and protect what matters most.
What Sets Me Apart
I go the extra mile. I spend my time observing how plants respond to sun, shade, water, and different climates. I study the difference between harsh chemical fertilizers and organic alternatives. I dig deep into understanding why soil health is everything.
I do this research and problem-solving so you don’t have to struggle through it alone. My goal is simple: I take the trouble out of gardening so you can focus on getting your hands dirty and enjoying the thing you love.

What I Love to Grow
Over the years, I’ve cultivated a variety of vegetables, including callaloo and various peppers, as well as cucumber, melon, and pumpkin. I’ve also grown fruit trees, including mango, otaheite apple, banana, soursop, and coconut. Whether it’s a balcony container garden or a backyard plot, I find joy in helping things flourish.
